Rolling Bones is recognized in Atlanta Magazine’s August 2009 “A-List” dining guide.
“The drift of smoke that hovers around Rolling Bones, the Old Fourth Ward’s barbeque join in a soigné converted gas station, bewitches more powerfully with its aroma these days. Chef Todd Richards and his Lush life restaurant group partners took over the operation in mid-June, and the menu looks and tastes completely different. Duck, turkey, and three different kinds of fish joined the protein lineup, as have the unctuous sausage links from famed Southside Market in Elgin, Texas. But the true attention-grabber is the pork shoulder, more deeply permeated with smoke and chopped into a rustic tangle. As for the sides, the porcine mustard greens satisfy down to the last hypnotic gulp of potlikker.”
